- Education:
- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree specialising in Afrikaans; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree in Afrikaans, Afrikaans Literature or relevant field, with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Professional Registration:
- Experience:
- Prior teaching experience within the Intermediate, Senior, or FET phases.
- A proven track record of successful Afrikaans instruction.
- CAPS curriculum knowledge essential; IEB or Cambridge curriculum experience
- Other Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
- Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
- Passionate about developing young people academically and holistically.
- Willingness to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
